Sweater is from Nordstrom (similar styles linked here), jeans are here, booties are here (sold out in my color but they have black).

Well it has been quite the busy past few weeks! This past week was the last week of school before spring break. I coach girls soccer in the spring so we had soccer tryouts (unfortunately in the freezing cold). We posted teams and then Friday got out early for spring break! I am so excited for this next week to get so much spring cleaning done and errands run.
My sisters birthday is today and she just turned 30! We went out to Hopvine Brewery and then The Comedy Shrine last night to celebrate. The brewery owners gave us a tour right before dinner and they were so attentive to our party of people. I love a restaurant that has good owners who care about their customers like that! Afterwards we went to the comedy show and it was improv so it was so funny to hear people shouting out their suggestions!!
Don’t forget, today is the last day to get triple points so if you haven’t snagged any items from Nordstrom yet this weekend .. do so now! They have some great sales going on.
After looking at all of these picture of my hair I am contemplating buying a Bombay hair wand. What do you all think? Do you have any recommendations?? I hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

These shoes are SOOOOO comfortable! I got them from DSW for this spring and i’m so glad I did. Espadrilles are so cute and I want to get them in so many other colors because I know I will get such good use out of them.
I got this sweater from Nordstrom a little while ago. I love the color! Here is a sweater in the same color but a different style (although I do have this in the pink color and love it. This is perfect for fall or spring since it’s such a bright color and it looks great with any skin tone!
Cardigan here (ON SALE FOR $19), Sam Edelman booties here (ON SALE FOR $90), jeans here. This is such a casual cute outfit. I love a good knit that I can just throw on to complete my outfit.
This sweater is sold out, but similar styles are here and here. I love cozy off the shoulder sweaters for nights I lounge around my place in to watch tv with my boyfriend.
Happy shopping!:)

Vest is from h&m (here), leggings are here, similar tee is here or here shoes are here, glove/mittens are from nordstrom, similar here.

Don’t let the green grass fool you – it is FREEZING here (30 degrees). Today is unofficial St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago, so here is my little hint of green. I had my 5 mile run this morning for the half marathon training, so I was numb by the time I got back! This is the perfect little cozy number to run errands in to keep you warm in windy weather. Vests were my go to this winter since I love that you can still wear lightweight clothes underneath them.
If you don’t have a pair of these leggings you need to buy them now. They don’t fade after multiple washes, they aren’t see thru, and they are SO comfortable! I have 2 pairs and am definitely going to get a few more before next fall! These booties also sold out VERY fast, but Cecilia New York did a restock/pre-order for them and i’m so glad I was able to snag a pair.
Next weekend is supposed to warm up, so hopefully that follows through and I can post some spring options on here. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

This sweater is SO cute and on sale for under $40!
This flannel is SO comfortable and on sale for under $20!! I almost want to get it in every single color!
I love this camo utility jacket, it can be worn so many different ways with so many different styles.
I also like this bracelet; it’s on sale for under $40 and when you sign up you get 10% off your first purchase!
They have so many cute necklaces like this one that I purchased recently, and many more!

Scarf is from Nordstrom (dupe here), jacket is from shophopes but there is a similar one here, similar booties are here, tank is here, jeans are here, sunglasses are here.

What a fun weekend this has been, although the weather hasn’t been the greatest! I had my long run for this weeks training of the half marathon (4 miles), which may not seem long to some but after running 3 miles three days so far this week it wore me out. Yesterday after that, we went to an early St. Patricks Day parade and celebration in Forest Park. Our uber driver got lost and took us 20 minutes out of the way from where we were supposed to go lol!!!! We eventually got there and it was a ton of fun. I have given up fast food for lent (other than Chipotle every Sunday) so it was hard to not want some fast food on our way home! After the parade we went over to my sisters house to go hang out with them and she taught me how to play the entertainer on the piano. I always remember her and my dad playing piano as I was growing up so it was fun to learn it myself.
Today is just a relaxing day. The golf course we live on has opened up so that means warmer weather is coming – and hopefully sun too so that I can get more use out of these new sunglasses I just bought! As for now, I will get as much use out of my blanket scarves before I have to put them away for the summer.
