This top is a dream (although I had my boyfriend do the entire shoot and then looking upon pictures realized I should have pulled my top more down so it didn’t come up so high in the front) ; / . I know I have mentioned it before but I have been obsessed with Vici Dolls lately! They have such cute stuff that I just want to buy it all. I paired this top with jean shorts, but it would also be super cute with white jeans. It’s very lightweight which is nice a breezy for those warmer summer days. These sunglasses have a pink tint to them which I LOVE; because of course, they are pink. Also, they are only $12!!!! BP sunglasses are my go to glasses since they are so much cheaper and a lot of them look similar to designer ones for a fraction of the cost. I know I have been wearing these sandals on repeat, but how could I not? They are so so comfortable and easy to slip on. Since they are two toned they go with almost everything! You can shop my look in the link above, or the widget below.
What are you plans for the weekend?! Today my boyfriend and I are going to be doing some spring cleaning before his parents come to visit from Arizona and stay with us. Tonight I’m having a girls night out with some of my friends from college which will be fun because I don’t see some of them too often anymore. Time to get dolled up and dressed up, which is always fun!:)
Dress is from shophopes but I linked similar ones at great price points here

I wore this look for a baptism and it was so cute! I’ve had this dress in my closet for a while since you have to be careful what you wear red dresses to (obviously not weddings, etc.) so this occasion was perfect! Crochet detailing is so feminine and flattering and it covers you without totally covering you. It is breezy and make the dress look fancier! I paired it with these wedges (soooo comfortable) – which I have in this taupe color and the tan color; I am now contemplating purchasing them in the black color because I love wearing them. They can be worn with dresses, or with jeans for a more casual look. I’ve linked some cute crochet dresses in the widget below to shop all under $100; some are so cute and good to have for summer occasions!
How is your week going?? The shorter weeks always seem the longest, but once you get through Wednesday they fly by! Yesterday we had our very last soccer game of the school year (ended in a tie 3-3), so soccer season is over for me now. All of the things I am involved in (half marathon training, sports, school, etc.) are slowly coming to an end which means – SUMMER! We have 7 days of school left and it is just flying by. We have to start packing up our rooms and taking posters down on the walls since they are remodeling parts of our school, which I am procrastinating on – anyone else a procrastinator?! 🙂
To say i’m obsessed with this dress would be an understatement. I have recently discovered Vici Dolls on Instagram and I love all of their clothing. They do so many great deals and discount codes randomly so if I like anything I usually wait to get a code. Their shipping is so fast too! This is the second thing i’ve ordered from there and their clothes are very good quality. This dress is a dream. I sized up to a large to make sure it was long enough and it fits perfect; so if you are nervous – size up! (I normally wear a medium). I paired this dress with a duster since my friend and I were walking around downtown Naperville, and it is so breezy. I got it on sale (it’s on MAJOR sale right now) and it comes in a navy blue too. It would be cute to pair with a swimsuit also since it is so lightweight.
How is your long weekend going?! There are so many good sales going on right now. The Nordstrom half yearly sale is still going on and there are a ton of good deals. Here is my top ten list of items at great prices! Shop them from the links or the widget below.
3. Lush tunic

This top is by far one of my favorites from Free People. It is sooo cozy! It can easily be paired with shorts or jeans and is the perfect length. The opening for the shoulders isn’t too wide, but wide enough to hang just right. It fits pretty true to size (I am wearing a medium – probably could have gone with a small but I liked the oversized look). I paired it with these sandals I have been wearing daily from Old Navy. Old Navy has some great sales going on right now! To shop my outfit you can click the links above, or on the widget below.
How is your week going?? Happy hump day! We are almost to the weekend! The soccer season for me is coming to an end so i’m going to be having so much free time now that training for the half marathon is over, and coaching will be over. Also, school gets out June 9th, so then i’ll have loads of time until summer school starts! Do you guys have any fun summer plans or suggestions to do in addition to laying out by the pool all the time:)??

(on sale for under $55!)
So many sales on this outfit I just had to post!! This Free People top is under $70 – which, how often does that happen?!? – and my Vince Camuto shoes I found on sale for under $55. I love Vince Camuto shoes; they are so comfortable you can wear them all day and you won’t get blisters or have the balls of your feet hurt. This top is definitely oversized; I usually wear a medium and I sized down to a small (and this is how it fits on me). I would go down one size if you want an oversized look, two sizes if you want it more fitted. It is so easy to pair with dark denim and you could even pair and tuck it into denim shorts. I love the stripe detail in it and it is so flattering! You can shop my entire outfit using the links under the picture or the widget at the end of this post.
This weekend was busy, busy, busy! Saturday I went out to lunch with two of my coworkers to Olive Garden and then went back to one of their places to hot tub and get our muscles relaxed for our half marathon Sunday. Sunday morning I woke up at 4:30am to get ready for it. I can’t believe the past two and a half months of training are already over and done with. I had two goals going into my half marathon – to not stop (no matter how slow I had to run), and to finish in under 2 hours and 20 minutes. I accomplished both of my goals! I am SO happy that I did it and I can now check it off the bucket list.
My coworker Jessica is an avid runner and last summer we had talked with my other coworker Katie about doing one, so Jess had us sign up. I am so glad she did and she was so good at keeping us on track and motivating us (we went to her with 43295749 questions throughout the past few months). She is so wonderful! If you have a half marathon on your “to-do” list I strongly encourage you to get out there and do it. I never thought i’d be able to since when I started training I struggled running 2 miles, but so worth it! I used to be a huge runner when I lived downtown Chicago (lakeshore path – so beautiful) and had since then quit so i’m happy to have friends who can get you back into things you once enjoyed! Granted my legs are so sore it’s hard to move from standing to sitting position and vice versa, but then if I have to sit it makes it easier to online shop:)
