I’ve been super obsessed with cardigans lately and I have found you guys some of the CUTEST ones ever! I’ve linked them all here
, and here
. I wore this one on a rainy day – I just love them to snuggle in, especially oversized ones! This was a lighter outfit, so I opted for lighter destroyed denim for a day time look.
Cheers to the weekend! I have been getting more and more into the holiday spirit, because I realized it will be over before we know it! Time to start Christmas shopping (have reallllly been procrastinating here), and putting up the rest of our decorations! I usually have these up the day after Thanksgiving, but being on vacation then coming straight back to work didn’t allow us to have that happen.
Anyone else still dream that they’re back on vacation?! I always look back at photos (mostly to delete them from my phone when I don’t need them anymore), and I always wish we were back on vacation! Tom and I have a lot coming up next year as far as vacation wise so you guys will have to stay tuned!:)
Sweater is here, jeans here, boots here, sunglasses here
Before I get started, I apologize for all of the pictures with the sun spot on my head ;). Tom says “he didn’t notice” lol! That boy! Anywho, the color of this sweater is to die for and it is a scrunchy, forgiving, kind of cozy! I paired it with these boots that I got and I absolutely love them. It is hard to find a good pair of over the knee boots that actually stay up without chopping your leg fat in half – but these accomplished that! I love that they are flat too since I have heel versions, it’s nice to wear flat OTK boots too. This sweater is such a cute color it can easily be worn into winter and spring and the lace up on the sleeve is to die for!
Happy Wednesday! As i’m writing this on my couch, I just noticed that I have a hole in my sock! I hate when that happens. Does anyone else throw away both socks in the pair so that you don’t have a random sock hanging out without it’s spouse? I guess I should keep it in case another one gets lost?!?
This week has been a whirlwind of things – if you know any teacher friends, or anyone really who gets super busy and crazy stressed around the holidays – that is like me. This weekend we are having my joint birthday party with one of my sisters friends that we do every year – it should be fun! I’m not much of a party person (call me a homebody ;)) so we are just going to a little downtown area by me and going around to a few different places so i’m excited! The weather has definitely dropped about 30 degrees here the past two days so it’s time to start bundling up! Hope you all have a safe and fun filled weekend!:)
Cardigan is here, camisole here, necklace here, jeans here, loafers here, sunglasses here.
This cardigan is on sale for $30 and my oh my! The best for lounging or dressing up to go out in! I paired it with all black for more of a chic look and I didn’t want to take this outfit off! I definitely love mixing different neutrals together – blacks and camels mostly, but I have started to turn to gray a lot more lately. These loafers are from Target and so worth the $22 they cost! I’m thinking about getting the same ones with fur liner for winter because they are perfect for school with my dress pants, or a throw on slide for a casual outfit. I’m definitely been riding on this mule train lately. Tom says some mules make him think I have elf feet, which cracks me up! I feel like I haven’t been on the blog that much lately! It’s so much easier to shop my outfits from the liketoknow.it app that I have been linking all of my outfits there! If you haven’t signed up yet, you definitely should – it makes things so easy to shop, and you can follow all of your favorite bloggers!
If you’ve been following along with me, this weekend was a blast! Ever since Tom and I got back from Arizona I have been struggling to get everything done and fit in, but this weekend was a good time to nail everything down. The holidays are going to be so busy and fly by in the blink of an eye. I always try to listen to Christmas music as much as I can, enjoy every day that is a little more chilly than the others just so you can bundle up in those extra cozy layers, enjoy any snow fall, and do as many things holiday related as possible. Movies always make the holiday time seem so happy and people get so caught up in fitting in all of their holiday shopping and the hustle bustle and commotion of everything going on that they always forget to enjoy it! It’s also super easy to get stressed and turn into a grinch, but any time you feel yourself stressed out just freeze and think of everything you are thankful for and to have this holiday season – because there is always someone who would be grateful to be where you are.
First of all, i’ll start off by saying yes, I have this top in two different colors. It is just so cute! I’m obssessed with ruffles, bell sleeves, and everything to add a little cutesy to a plain outfit without going over the top.
I have done so much shopping this weekend it has been bad. I am going to link a few of my favorite purchases because I want you to be able to get the deals before they’re over! Here are my favorite 8 ranked in order…
2. Satin Henley
(I got in the black and red for the holidays – only $22!!)
3. Coziest Fleece
(Wore on the plain ride; it’s like a blanket and only $35!)
4. BP Moto Leggings
(I have two pairs now and I just love the way they dress up an outfit – and only $20!!!)
I will be wearing some of these in my upcoming blog posts so be sure to shop them before they go back to full price!!
